Look Who's in a Big Boy Bed!
This kid loved his crib so much that I figured I would keep him in it as long as possible. However, how can I tell him he needs to be a big boy and go in the big boy potty and then put him in a baby bed? So...we took the front off, and he loves it! He still loves his bed...in fact, he calls for me to get him up, he won't get out by himself...silly boy!

Black Cats and Ghosts...
Skeletons too, all come out to say....BOO! (I wish I could tell you how many times this song has come out of Ashton's mouth, but I lost track at like 1,234).
Halloween was fun!

My Little Man Turned 3

For some reason, 3 seems so much older than 2. I am one of those moms that gets sad when her kids grow up. I don't know why, I just hate that one day they are going to be old, and I am going to have a hard time remembering everything that they are doing at this time in their lives. Ash is a sweet little guy, and I love him so much. He is so lovey and always wants everyone to be happy.
I have been putting off posting all of the funny things that he says and I have a list as long as my arm, so what better time then on his birthday to remember the crazy things that come out of his mouth?
"Dang it"
"Maybe I want to ride on that!" (that being anything that has to do with road construction)
"Sweetness!"
If I tell him to do something and then say "Okay?" he responds with "No-Kay"
"Go Utes!" (every team is the Utes)
"I am very busy mommy" (usually when he is in daddy's office, which is off limits)
"Don't see me" (anytime he is doing something naughty)
"Can I be a workerman when I grow up big like daddy?"
"Wow...look at that homemotor!" (aka...a motorhome)
"I am getting so frustrated"
"I need a backpack and a schoolbus" (when we were getting ready to go to playgroup)
"I am going to give daddy lots of kisses" (on our way to the airport to pick Adam up)
"That's crap on the couch"
"I need a helicoptor" (after falling down the stairs outside church..he is referring to lifeflight)
"I want to go in the speakers and watch the people sing"
"Go Captain Mommy!"
"Blake, you're the best!"
"Should we go left or straight, mommy?"
"He's handsome like I am handsome!" (referring to Uncle Nate on his wedding day)
"You're the best family I have ever seen!"
Typing these out, it isn't quite as funny/cute as when he says it in his little munchkin voice.

My first Party
I am the new activities chair in our ward. I had my very first activity for Halloween, and it was a success! A success for me is measured by no one getting sick from the food and more than 20 people showing up. I have to thank Chelsea for the inspiration...she threw a carnival in her old ward and gave me so many great ideas. She can throw a mean party, so I knew I could count on her!

6 boys = craziness
They may be crazy, but they are totally cute! They all love each other, and I love to eavesdrop on their little toddler conversations.
